Community Partnerships Representative (Part-Time Sales, 1099)

Commission only position

Based in Hawai‘i

Hawaii Pickleball Magazine is expanding, and we’re looking for people who love pickleball and enjoy creating opportunities. If you’re someone who naturally connects with others, sees possibilities in everyday conversations, and likes the idea of earning meaningful income through flexible, low-pressure sales, this could be a great fit.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, feels comfortable talking with local businesses, and likes the satisfaction of turning warm connections into simple partnership opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with players, coaches, small businesses, and organizations about the magazine

  • Identify businesses that could benefit from reaching Hawai‘i’s growing pickleball community

  • Introduce partnership options and answer basic questions

  • Pass along warm leads to the publisher when appropriate

  • Close small to mid-sized deals 

  • Represent the magazine with professionalism, aloha, and enthusiasm

Compensation

  • Referral Fee: 10% of the first invoice or $75 — whichever is higher (paid when the deal closes)

  • Closing Commission: 25% of the first invoice for any deals you personally close

  • Occasional event or milestone bonuses
